Laurence of Arabia

This hand carved and handprinted single colour linocut print of Laurence of Arabia is printed onto hand made Zerkal relief printing paper. This was a linocut print that I sketched and carved in a single day and it’s one of my favourites. Ever since my father watched the famous movie with me and I read his seminal account of his time in the Middle East, The Seven Pillars of Wisdom, i’ve always been fascinated by this incredible figure.
