Hurricane WW2 Aeroplane Woodcut Print

This hand carved and handprinted single colour woodcut print of a WW2 RAF Hurricane fighter is printed onto hand made Japanese Ho-Sho paper.

One of my most favourite WW2 fighter planes. Despite claiming more victories and shooting down more enemy planes during the Battle of Britain in 1940 than it’s sister, the Supermarine Spitfire. This great plane always seems to be in the shadow of the ‘Spit’ but I absolutely love it. I also love this print as it was my first attempt at a woodcut print, an experiment I enjoyed very much!
